United States

As a native Floridan, I’ve come to realize that the United States of America is massive in comparison to countries around the world. Truly think about it: to drive the entire length of Florida, alone, one must drive 8-10 hours. And that’s just one state! Coming to terms with the immensity of the United States is rather hard, not to mention that we have four different time zones, which seems equally bizarre. A fact I often forget – Florida has two time zones which makes my job (serving the entire state of Florida) quite difficult at times.

While I’ve technically driven the entire length of the United States, beginning in Washington state back to Florida, I haven’t truly experienced enough to adequately write a detailed blog post about the vast majority of the country I live in. Come to think of it, I actually haven’t been to a lot of places within Florida either and I’ve lived here my entire life. I sincerely hope for all of that to change though. While it’s my plan to retire in an RV traveling through the United States, I do hope that the future holds the opportunity to adventure out of the state of Florida before the ripe age of 75. If my job would allow it, I would have sold everything and moved into an RV and worked from the road eons ago. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a job that will accommodate that type of schedule, yet. The search continues!

In the meantime, here is a brief list of states and their respective cities I have had the pleasure of traveling too. While the list may be short, it’s jam-packed with helpful tips and hints from the places I have been. Enjoy!
